Hello there, I'm Kristine.
Thank you for stopping by!
When people ask me where I am from, I struggle with my answer, but I've settled on: I am a California native. For about 10 years, I lived in a small, so-cal beach town called Lompoc, CA. Then, my next 5 years would be spent in Visalia, CA in the central valley. Until, I moved away for college to Monterey, CA where I lived for 10 years. Then, in 2020 my husband and I decided to move to San Luis Obispo, CA.
Hence, California native.
I graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematic Arts & Technology. Nothing hotter than an otter!
From there, I have had a series of work and life experiences that have yet to slow down. I worked for multiple production companies around the Monterey peninsula, learning the way. I took internship after internship, which allowed me to learn to code. I began creating websites and becoming a digital media strategist on top of providing photography and creating promotional videos.
This experience gave me the ability to land a formative job to my career - working for the Department of Defense. My photography career took a back seat and I focused on the stable job I was loving.
During all this time, I was dating and then married my wonderful husband (and caring for our fur baby, a Siberian Husky). I eventually became pregnant with our first son.
Becoming a mother completely changed me and I decided to leave my job to focus on our growing family. It reignited my passion for my photography business. Since, I had another son and am currently pregnant with our third boy! Although I am trained for just about any type of projects to come my way, capturing motherhood is the focus of my photography and where I find true joy.
I currently service San Luis Obispo County (with the exception of wedding photography) and love all the people my photography business has introduced me to. The memories, moments in life, milestones, and personalities that I come across truly highlights what makes this world amazing.
